Musical stimulation for toddlers (1–3 years) – A special class for families with babies and young children, supporting early development through music.

Musical initiation (3–6 years) – Join us for an introduction to basic music theory, appreciation, and psychomotor skills as preparation for learning an instrument.

Elba Perez is a Latina immigrant woman and a music educator with over 17 years of experience who specializes in the teaching and learning process of string instruments, piano, voice, and music theory (note reading, music history, harmony, and rhythm). Originally from Mexico City and now based in Kingston, NY, her teaching approach is inspired by Montessori principles. She sees herself more as a guide or facilitator than a traditional teacher. She personalizes her lessons according to the needs, abilities, and characteristics of each student or group.
