Shannon, as a nurse, has worked in critical care of all kinds, hospice and with patients who have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. She loves trauma and exciting life-saving skills as much as she loves helping people stay home to die a good death, if that is their wish. Now much of her time is devoted to O+ in helping it grow. Shannon believes in making health care accessible to everyone, decreasing health disparities and promoting healthier communities through smart design and good policy, and that progressive health policies such as harm reduction and sex-positive education are our future. You may find her in Nurse Practitioner school soon, or possibly singing in a club in Paris as she’s a wanna-be chanteuse and recovering classical flutist. Otherwise- she’s growing flowers and singing to her dogs and dreaming of how to make the world a better place.
