About O+

Launched in 2010 in Kingston, NY by a small group of artist-activists, doctors, and a dentist, O+ Festivals are weekend-long events that bring muralists, musicians and performers, art shows, and movement workshops into the community. In exchange, these artists receive a variety of health services donated by doctors, dentists, and complementary care providers at the O+ Wellness Clinic. Entering its 14th year, O+ has developed to include year-round programming, such as mural tours, education, and public health forums, and in 2023 we opened the doors to our year-round, exchange-based health clinic for O+ alumni, expanding the services we provide at the three-day festival to 365 days a year.

Unlike traditional non-profit structures, O+ operates under a shared leadership model. Each member of the team sits within one or more different “circles” that correspond to a different initiative: Development, Communications, Wellness, Operations, etc. Within each circle, team members are empowered to share in decision-making processes, lead tasks, and contribute ideas. Your participation in this structure will be essential and invaluable to the sustainability, growth and health of the organization.

The O+ Exchange Coordinator is a thought partner in the expansion and execution of the year-round exchange for care and manages the property and use of the year-round clinic space.
