Da Wu Qigong

Qigong instructor Chris Brandon Whitaker will guide you through a gentle Da Wu qigong class. Qigong is an ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that naturally heals the body, balances the emotions, sharpens the mind, and raises consciousness. Qigong means “energy work” and is a Body-Mind-Spirit wellness system that combines Posture, Breathing, Meditation, Visualization, Movement, and Self-massage to achieve optimal health.

Chris Brandon Whitaker earned his 200-hour qigong teacher certification from the National Qigong Association and has practiced several forms for over 15 years. He teaches on Saturday mornings at Kingston’s Yoga Lab and has taught qigong and meditation on weekend spiritual retreats, at SUNY New Paltz, and Yoga on the Wallkill.
