Lauren Kincheloe is a writer, comic and raconteur who squirreled around performing in NYC and Los Angeles before returning home to the Hudson Valley. She is the founder of Squalid Gold Comedy School and teaches stand-up writing workshops in Kingston.

AJ Jordan – CO+medy Hour

AJ Jordan is a Filmmaker and Stand-Up Comedian born in Kingston, NY. Beginning comedy in May of 2024, he has been covering a lot of ground to continue to bring comedy to Kingston. He hosted and organized an open mic at Tubbys in Kingston and a variety show of music and comedy, “Sunday Service,” which showcased 5 comedians, including himself, doing a 15-minute set. Bringing his nuanced perspectives of life to his joke writing, he builds to a thoughtful punch.

Natan Daskal, CST, RSME/T

Natan (he/they) (RCST®, RSME/T, MA) is a craniosacral therapist, trauma-informed bodyworker, somatic therapy practitioner and movement educator who believes in the body’s own wisdom and creativity to heal, guide, and express itself.

He has been on faculty at the Tamalpa Institute since 2016, guiding groups in healing and transformation through movement, embodiment, and the arts; and supports people individually through his private practice in biodynamic craniosacral therapy, hakomi (mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy), somatic movement therapy and expressive arts therapy.

Alicia Upchurch – ChakraTalk – Reiki Sound Healings

Alicia Upchurch is a Reiki Master and Coach that blends the traditional Reiki practice with medicine drumming and channeled song for a shamanic and multi sensory healing experience. She attended NYU for music education and classical voice and now employs this training in her healing practice, believing that the process of self discovery and awareness is the most important education for the betterment of our world. She recently completed the whole person coaching program and is launching a program for conscious uncoupling in the coming months. Her coaching includes energy healing as the body’s wisdom has been paramount to her own healing journey. Alicia is also an Artist, musician and writer and is building a healing space and intimate retreat center in Palenville NY and is excited to offer her gifts to this vibrant community.

The Ephemeral Garden is an installation and community art project sponsored by Half Moon Books. Books will fill the space like flora while festival goers are invited to explore the texts in the garden, pick a book to give to someone else and even contribute their own text to the environment.

Jenny Papo – Beginner-Friendly Yoga

Jenny started practicing yoga in 2018, when she enrolled in a month-long Intro to Yoga course at the Sivananda Vedanta Center in NYC, and she has enjoyed deepening her practice ever since! She completed her first 200-hour YTT with Lila Flow in 2020 and completed a Yoga and Social Justice course with Shanna Small in 2021. Jenny is also certified in Contemporary Pilates. Jenny’s yoga practice on and off the mat has helped her find joy in her life, and she aims to provide a joyful experience for her students. She loves connecting with and learning from new people.

Alex Tse – Sonic Yin

Alex (she/her/they/them) is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki II practitioner and movement instructor. Born, raised and currently based in the Hudson Valley, Alex acknowledges the unceded Munsee Lenape land they walk and serve upon.

As a graduate of Pacific College of Health + Science, she incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine with her knowledge of Western science, along with her studies of Ayurveda, Community Herbalism, and Aromatherapy. They teach Pilates and various styles of Yoga that include Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Prenatal/Postpartum.

Alex has been consistently practicing yoga and meditation since 2013. Though her practice has shifted over the years, it has been a home base that she can always return to, and she hopes to help others cultivate rituals and routines that honor this commitment to self-preservation. Alex strives to meet her students where they are at, and teaches from a trauma-informed perspective, bringing these ancient practices to communities and individuals in search of healing, connection, and liberation. She can be found sharing classes at The Yoga House.

Brigit Moynihan Reiki Practitioner and Private Yoga Instructor

Brigit Moynihan is a singer, toning channel, yoga teacher and reiki practitioner. Brigit began teaching yoga in 2000 after completing her first teacher training with Don and Amba Stapleton of Nosara Yoga. Brigit’s work raises the energetic vibration and she knows how to help you clear the way to uncover and directly experience your vital life force. Both grounding and empowering her yoga classes, yoga nidra and Reiki sessions are deeply restorative for your body, mind and energy field. Relieving the stress of our day to day habitual processes allows us all to be more responsive to our needs and self healing. When we are met and nourished by our own resource this has a ripple effect in our lives and communities. Brigit feels becoming a Reiki practitioner is a natural continuation of the energy awakened within us through yoga practice. She received her Reiki activation through Jenny Mulak of Cosmos Mother.
