Emily Beck

Emily is a singer-songwriter from Hudson Valley, New York.

She started developing her musical abilities while being classically trained to play the violin when she was young. She continued playing in orchestras while she taught herself guitar.

The day her uncle passed away, before her family left on their travel to North Carolina, she wrote her first song.

From there she took guitar lessons at a conservatory but when her teacher found out about her songwriting, her music career began to blossom.

She started writing songs in different styles and forms. After her songs were written, she was encouraged to perform at open mics and fairs.
She fell in love with performing and decided that she wanted to help other musicians share their music, so she went to SUNY Oneonta to study Music Industry and Audio Production.

She started to perform with the Frank Zappa cover band and her musical connections grew. She started being asked to perform at different concerts and events. She met amazing musicians and enigneers and decided to record her EP You Say You Love Me.

That Virginia

That Virginia is a mix of strange feelings, warm weather wishes, and stomach butterflies. Virginia Semeghini was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and she brings the tropical warmth of her nature to her performances, while often singing about the not so warm truth of emotions, humanity, and other oddities.

Virginia’s songs often speak of emotions we avoid talking about, the urgency of experiencing life, and empowering thoughts. With influences like Brandi Carlile, Lady Lamb, Trevor Hall, and Ana Carolina, That Virginia brings to the table thought provoking and motivating lyrics, peculiar melodies, and a sprinkle of her Brazilian roots, while delivering a rich performance that hits softly in the audience’s emotional gut, bringing tears, joy, happiness, and sorrow, quite often in one punch.

Although Virginia’s first instrument was the bass guitar, she has fallen in love with the guitar since her move from Brazil to the United States. Connected with her feelings, her art, and her audience, she now performs on both guitar and keyboards, with vocals that are both sweet and raw, controlled and emotional.

Royal KhaoZ

Royal Khaoz stands as a unit whose sole purpose is to bring an energetic vibe through music. The unit as a band, has evolved over the years they have been together, and now believe they are what, and whom they started out to be. With all members native to Jamaica, Royal Khaoz presents their music in the form of fusion – hence, Reggae Fusion. With frontman Bama as the lead vocalist, solid drum and bass and a steady rhythm section, the band possesses the ability to represent reggae in its truest form, while tastefully apply their own twist to its traditional and conventional forms.

Formed since 2010 out of New York City, Royal Khaoz have had the opportunity of sharing the stage with renown legends of the trade gaining the respect of ones they grew up emulating with musical reverence. They also have played well-known stages along the East and West coast; and have been featured on the Bowery scene. Royal Khaoz has been a part of great showcases throughout New York City and the greater Hudson Valley region, heading local bills and working with renown promoters. Their debut album. “Life: The Journey”, was released in 2012 and they anticipate more music to be released later this year.

Pros & iCons

When Joseph Mastando (singer), Lenny Morales (guitarist), Nicholas Vaude (guitarist), and Tyler O’Leary (bassist) banded together, they sought to revive the energy and free spirit of the iConic 1980s rock ‘n’ roll scene. Using their business-savvy wit shaped on the streets of their NYC home, Pros & iCons’ four members crafted a sound and look that injected the iConic in today’s mainstream, capturing a rock ‘n’ roll edge that speaks to the rebellion swelling inside any adolescent, wild heart. In the studio, Pros & iCons breaks pop stereotypes and transcends genre. Though synth-driven, each instrumental comes to life with the guitar. From booming solos to infectious leads, each instrumental breathes with the accompaniment of six strings. The group propels the momentum of each track by harnessing near hip-hop percussion; crushing bass, contemporary trap hi-hats, and rhythmic 808s forge the heartbeat of each composition. And through all these hard, traditionally anarchical sounds remain clean, clear, and soaring vocals to juxtapose the aforementioned grit—vocals chiseled with a more classic approach channeling the soulful beginnings of rock ‘n’ roll with a theatrical clarity. Somehow, the sounds coalesce in one fresh and progressive blend that’s uniquely Pros & iCons.

Bear Grass

Located in Troy, NY, Bear Grass attracts listeners with the quirky songs of Katie Hammon. Her sultry pipes leave them devastated, but the band’s blend of folk, rock, and homespun trip-hop soothes their wounds. Hammon’s roots in the pacific northwest shape the character of the music with lyrics often referencing the people and places from her childhood memories. Drawing on influences like Laura Veirs and Wye Oak, the music is sometimes subtly dark, but always thoroughly captivating and melodic.
