Salam Hawa, MD

Dr. Hawa is a Family Medicine resident who is part of the Institute for Family Health at the Mid-Hudson Residency program who provides for the Kingston and Ellenville communities providing care for acute and chronic illnesses.

Dr. Hawa believes that being a part of the community that he cares for allows for an easier understanding of his patient’s healthcare needs.

Andrea Littleton, MD

I am a family physician for over 20 yrs and practice medicine for the homeless in the South Bronx as well as with Sunriver health in Beacon NY. I am also medical director for Bronx Works and Asst Professor of Family Medicine at Montefiore/Einstein Hospital teaching medical students and residents.

Himanshu Parikh, MD

Dr. Himanshu Parikh was born in India. He received his BS in Microbiology and MS in Biophysics from the Cancer Research Institute, Ph.D. in Biophysics and Biochemistry from Wayne State University, and completed his postdoctoral studies in Neuropharmacology at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Before starting medical school and residency he pursued his passion for supporting the development of new drugs for hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hematological malignancy. After graduating he worked for a year at a free clinic serving indigent and underserved patients population in Lubbock. This experience helped him appreciate every level of teamwork that goes into providing excellent primary care. Dr. Parikh’s professional interests include global health and care focused on urgent care medicine, patient education and access to care for a population that might otherwise only be able to utilize the emergency room for routine care in the United States.

Dr. Beth Stefanchik is a nephrologist serving Ulster and Dutchess counties–specializing in the management of chronic kidney disease and hypertension. Originally from the Hudson Valley, she returned after completing her training at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York City.
