O is honored to co-host a celebration of the life of musician John deVries in partnership with his family and friends. deVries is best known for his role as a member of Poughkeepsie’s own art punk band Agitpop, which was instrumental in the renaissance of the regional music scene in the 1980’s.

The memorial will be held April 15th at The Old Dutch Church in Kingston, NY with the service starting at 4pm. After the service, refreshments will be offered in Bethany Hall and followed by an open mic and a performance led by his former bandmates as a tribute to his life and work.
