Unemployment, canceled contracts and gigs, safer-at-home directives and news briefings about COVID-19 case numbers have left so many of us stressed, anxious and despondent. But we are all connected and in this together.
On Wednesday, May 13 at 8 p.m. EDT, O+ bring together a group of trusted providers (licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, counselors and group therapists) to discuss how to nourish our mental health during the pandemic. They will answer any questions you may have about the care and support that are available to you. The call takes place over Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82603643771
They are:
Jeff Schneider: https://www.healing-wellness-counseling.com/
Matteo Undici: https://matteoundici.com/
Andrea Grunblatt: https://grunblattpsychology.com
Lori Wynters: https://www.wildseedsoftorah.org/words
The HO+use Call guests are all providers with Kingston Frontline, a free 24-7 hotline that connects you with mental health services.
What You’ll Need in Order to Participate:
- Zoom, which can be downloaded: https://zoom.us/download, lets you connect in a variety of ways — from a laptop, phone app, or by dialing in. You can test out your own setup and troubleshoot anything.
- Sound tends to be better when you wear headphones, but it’s fine without them. FYI, when you join Zoom video will automatically be turned on. You can manually turn this off when you arrive.
- When you join the Zoom your sound will be muted. You can use the chat function to let us know you want to talk.
- A quiet enough space to hear the session and check in with yourself.
