Latin Dance For Everyone

Begin or continue the Wellness Journey with Cumbia, as we warm up in community. Continue learning to lead and follow with festive Merengue, and try simple combinations as partners with Salsa, the spicy thing we do in the dance floor. From beginners to experienced dancers Carlos will guide you to study the tradition and basics of what makes a community thrive and smooth out stresses. No experience necessary. Bring a friend and Wepa! You’ll be dancing.

Carlos Osorio has been teaching the history and the Latin dance styles throughout the Hudson Valley and The Capital Region areas for over 17 years. Mr. Osorio dedicates most of his instruction to seniors in Albany, where he leads a Free Wellness class at Trinity Alliance. Carlos enjoys teaching individuals at any age and does private sessions in Kingston, NY. Besides volunteering with the LGBTQ Community Center every Saturday at 7 pm, in the Fall 2019, teaching Latin dances by donation that benefit the center.
