Cynthia Kim, LCSW-R

An employee of the Institute for Family Health for over 10 years, Cynthia Kim is proud to be a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York. Ms. Kim completed her undergraduate and doctoral work in Psychology at Syracuse University, and also completed a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University. She has also completed fellowships in Behavioral Science Education and New Faculty Scholars programs within the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Ms. Kim has a variety of interests within academic Family Medicine, including teaching behavioral medicine, resident and faculty wellness, program development, and social justice. She has presented scholarly activity at both regional and national conferences and holds academic appointments at our affiliate medical schools. At the Institute, Ms. Kim also participates in the Graduate Medical Education Committee, research committee and is a proud member of the Institute’s LGBTQ Health Task Force.
