Ramblin Jug Stompers

For more than a decade, RAMBLIN JUG STOMPERS have been raising a rollickin’ roots-music ruckus, backporch bluegrass, gutbucket blues, moonshine twang and hobo jungle jazz. Armed with a banjo, mandolin, kazoos, guitar, washboard, assorted toys and, of course, a jug, Bowtie, Cousin Clyde, Mister Eck and Wild Bill have unleashed their merry musical mayhem everywhere that would have them – and some places that wouldn’t – from museums to concert halls to major music festivals. Their retro Americana sound and wry sense of humor can be heard on their albums – “Hobo Nickel” and “Crooked Songs: Live at Caffe Lena.”

There is a deep and heavy Appalachian influence, laced with ethereal and ambient flavors that make up a unique solo performance. He is known for creating large sonic landscapes using only an acoustic guitar and a variety of floor based guitar and vocal effects.

He has released a new live looper album entitled “Alone and Solo Volume 1” and full concert footage in anticipation of his studio release “Mountain Time”. He is currently booking solo shows in New England.
