Katy Samwell

CranioSacralSound came together after over 20 years of working in music studios (including Abbey Road Studios London, Metropolis Studios London, Sterling Sound NYC). As an artist and industry professional, I experienced how powerful sound is as a healing modality and wanted to share that with others. During that time I had a very old shoulder injury that was proving very difficult to heal until I had Craniosacral Therapy treatments. Not only did my shoulder get better I experienced deep relaxation and inner calm.

I began to study both modalities in depth with the Upledger Institute and the Sage Academy of Sound including studying with John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D. who is one of the foremost philosophers and major innovators in the area of sound healing therapies. After completing my training, I discovered how the therapies complemented each other and so I used them together in treatments and CranioSacralSound was born. To assist your body in healing and repair, I will either work with just Craniosacral therapy or a combination of Cranio and sound healing tools

Leah Gooch

Leah spent eight invigorating years teaching art in New York City schools. While she loved sharing art with students and working with her colleagues, her daily yoga and meditation practiced was slowly transforming her life and she felt the need to delve into a deeper understanding and potentially how to share that understanding with others. She left New York City with a backpack and an open mind. After seven months of learning, teaching, and exploring in Peru and Colombia she returned to her birthplace in upstate New York.
Her classes vary between muscle toning Vinyasa, meditative Hatha, and relaxing Yin with Reiki energy healing. She fully believes that practicing yoga increases ones ability to connect with their breath and body, thus approaching awareness of one’s existence. These tools offered can help one tap into one’s dormant and infinite potential.

Shannon Craig

I am a Registered Nurse at Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley here in Kingston. I read about the O+ festival a few years back and was immediately interested. I personally went without health insurance for 6 years at one point and this is such a great initiative! This will be my third year volunteering.
