Jessica Barry is a Mindset and Relationship Coach. She is on a mission to help people stuck in anxiety, fear and heartbreak, to move beyond survival mode and truly thrive through creating peaceful, loving relationships first within themselves and then with others. Nina Jirka – Moving Together – Outdoor Qi Gong, Yoga, and Improv

Bringing together the elements of Qi Gong, Yoga, Improvisation and Modern dance, we work with gravity, connecting to nature, energy, body/ ground, sound, and each other. The class focuses on creating fluidity, awareness, alignment, balance, health and peace.

Nina Jirka studied various forms of dance, music, and theatre at the legendary Russian Dance Academy in the USSR. Dancing as a soloist with the Moscow Festival Ballet, Perm Opera, Kremlin Ballet, and Stars of Bolshoi, Nina toured extensively through Europe and Asia. Moving to New York, Nina continued to perform, study, and teach. In 2006, she received MA degree from the State University of New York and founded Tango New Paltz. In the Hudson Valley, Nina had the pleasure of working with The Vanaver Caravan Institute, Figures in Flight Dance Company, and RTA (Rehabilitation through the Arts) Programs, and Ashtanga Yoga of New Paltz. Currently, Nina teachers dance at SUNY NP and organizes dance workshops and events for all ages. Nina is lucky and grateful to have a beautiful family.

Kristina Sarhadi is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Advanced Reiki Practitioner, and experienced behavioral therapist based in Kingston, NY.

Zoe Moffitt RN is a holistic nurse, Reiki practitioner, private Aging Life Care Manager and an artist, nourished by art, music, the natural world, spiritual community and working for justice and healing.

Mark Blickley – WO+RD

Mark Blickey grew up within walking distance of New York’s Bronx Zoo. He is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and PEN American Center. His latest book is the flash fiction collection, ‘Hunger Pains’ (Buttonhook Press).

Jesse Moss – WO+RD

Jesse Moss (she/her) has dedicated her life to creating a more grief-smart culture through sharing her personal grief story as well as her work at Experience Camps, a non-profit organization that supports grieving kids. Jesse has been a guest on numerous podcasts and most recently was a 2023 SXSW speaker, on a panel called #Deathtok: How Gen Z is Reimagining Grief and Loss. Jesse lives in Kingston with her girlfriend and their dog.

William Rodden – WO+RD

William Rodden is a native of Ulster County. He has a B.A. from Siena College and an MA in English Language & Literature from The College of Saint Rose. His poetry has been published in Chronogram, Pendragon Magazine, and The Dudley Doings. His works, often exploring the genre of micropoetry, occasionally rise to lucidity.

Elga Antonsen – WO+RD

Elga Antonsen, author of “Road Dance”, a collection of poems, published by Soul Garden Press, Malden on Hudson, NY 2010. With her family, she published a book of poetry and stories, “Daring to Dream”, by New Era Publishers, Staten Island, NY 1977. She is writing a memoir, “Singing Out of Tune”, soon to be published.
It is told from the point of view of a child raised by open Communists during the McCarthy era. Her mother lost her job many times because the FBI let her politics be known to the principal of the school where she was teaching. Her father, a carpenter, mad scientist and philosopher, worked when he could, after being shut out of a government job for the same reason.

Elga has participated in AVP, Alternatives to Violence Program at local prisons, and Family of New Paltz. She is co-host at Spoken Word at the Sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Kingston. She considers racism, sexism and all the other isms are problems to be solved in working towards peace and global survival. She is married to Bill Brown the owner of Brillig’s Books, an online bookstore. A great-grandmother, she believes that young people are our best hope.
