Rachelle Grad, MD

Dr. Rachelle Grad was raised in Canada. She received a B.Sc. in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge. After acheiving her undergraduate degree, she pursued her interest in research by working for Defence Research and Development Canada. Subsequently, she attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine where she volunteered for local charities such as SXM Paws, ICAN orphanage, and the St. Maarten AIDS foundation. During clinical rotations, Dr. Grad had the opportunity to perform further research in the ODYSSEY clinical trials developing medication for Acute Coronary Syndrome prevention. Other professional interests include community medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, and women’s health. Dr. Grad has been dancing ballet and playing the flute for most of her life. She looks forward to becoming part of O+ and the culture of art and caring.
