RESOURCES FOR MUSICIANS

O+ has compiled a list of COVID-19 resources specifically geared toward musicians. If you know of a resource that should be added to the evolving list, please email kathleen@opositivefestival.org

This program, which provides mental health tools and training to touring professionals, is providing independent touring contractors free online therapy through Better Help for one month if you have been employed by or were planning on joining a tour that has been postponed or cancelled.

This nonprofit, which provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems, has created a specific COVID-19 Fund for those who have lost work due to the pandemic.

Music industry professionals may apply for basic living assistance (rent or mortgage). Initial grant requests can be made up to $1000 to compensate for cancelled work that was scheduled and lost.

Emergency financial assistance is available for music professionals who are unable to pay their basic living expenses (health insurance/food/health care) over the next two months.
